Cryptic crossword No 430

This was fun! In particular, 3d, 8a and 14d are lovely, 21d and 12a threw me for ages then made me smile, the wordplay in 13a and 23a is great, 15d made me laugh out loud, and I don't know if I've seen anyone use the trick 20a pulls. Still a few slightly broken clues (which I'll leave in a reply because it'll be spoilery) but about half as many of them as last time so I'd say this "practice" thing works after all. (And since I know you're curious, 6d is excellent, but I did have to cheat it.)

A mixed bag to be sure, and a couple of lovely clues among them. Really liked 6d, 25a, 15d and 20a. Ta.

Nice to see you back so soon, Owlbazaar (thanks for the earworm, btw). Some v. nice clues here including 7a, 9a, 1d, 3d, 15d, 19d. A few quibbles below:

Intriguing work, Owlbazaar - you’ve got some lovely inventive ideas here (I particularly liked 20a), but also as others have mentioned quite a few problems that for me made the solving experience a bit frustrating. Spoilers in reply…
