Lots of fun, Owlbazaar - thanks! And well done on incorporating so many unsavoury characters into the clues, for which the occasional liberty is forgiven! Two or three words I didn’t know but they were very fairly clued. Particularly enjoyed 15A, 16A, 14D, 22D and 23D (😀). One minor spoiler in reply.

1d is pretty obscure, I love 5d though. Hmm, 17d...

Thanks Owlbazaar, a gentle morning solve - and just when I thought I might be mentally declining in my old age... I particularly liked 12a, 21a, 22a & 18d. No need to apologise for any of them - the icky ones were the most fun! Spoilers in reply.

Owl, I enjoyed it - quick on top, slower below. Many clues are clever and entertaining, like 25a, but the fun would not be any less if the clueing were tighter. 2d is a new word that I deduced and looked up, but the typo (now fixed) in the State had me wondering if I needed to know about Taz cartoons. In 23d, is MOT really car service? And it would surely take superhuman insight to crack 17d. Please keep the free-spiritedness in the puzzles, though - it's truly distinctive and fun. Thanks!

Thanks Owlbazaar, enjoyed this - very inventive and fun. Favourite clues were 15a, 25a (cleverly clued, don't think I've seen that type of clue in the imperative form before), 4d and 13d.
