Aha, so you CAN write more accessible clues after all - you just choose not to most of the time! 😆 Very accessible without being a write-in, and very rich you-know-what-ing to boot. Good surfaces throughout with my podium in that regard being 8a, 10d and 18d. Thanks!

I think it's a real skill to set at different levels of difficulty. So congratulations. I liked 14a and 22d

You stoop to conquer, PM. Plenty of chuckles en route too - shout outs for 8a, 26a, 10d, 24d, 24d. Many thanks.

Thanks PostMark for the Quiptic. I usually solve your cryptics without much problem but parsing the answers is where I fall short. No such issues with this --- favourites were 4a, 21a, 25a, 27a, 22d.

Very enjoyable and I worry that it seems to be about my level (solving not setting). I still had to reveal one (slip, I say shamefacedly)!!!

Enjoyed this very much. Simple or difficult I think the art is in the setting. Some very smooth surfaces, I thought. I liked the it’s turned up in 7d (without the s), the gentle anagrams, 25a in the plural, and the ladies in 24d which is obvious but works well in the surface. Had to google the singer and the yoghurt. 10d, 20d, 18d my picks to name but three.

Very impressive, I’ve yet to try setting at a different level to usual but as others have said I imagine it takes some skill. Plenty of lovely clues, my favourites were 1a, 11a, 15a, 1d, 10d, 18d and 20d.

Thanks PostMark, great stuff. A gentle solve, but an enjoyable one as was intended. Lots of great clues, I'll pick out 4a, 21a (nice misdirection), 20d and 22d for special mention.

A completed Postmark with no reveals! I'll take that. Still no walk in the park, for this solver at least. Faves 1a, 12a, 14a, 28a, 1d, 3d, 16d, 20d, 22d and 24d. I don't usually spot themes but I think it'd be pretty tough to miss. Cheers!

Thanks Postmark for a really satisfying solve, was more on my level accessible enough to really get stuck in and make my way to the end with little assistance needed. Goes without saying but maintaining such great surfaces in a Quiptic is no mean feat! Favourites included 26a, 28a, 20d (easy COD for me) and 24d. Potential spoilers...

There’s something very nice about a PM Quiptic … and that is that Coot can solve them 😂. 1a, 10d and 20d on my podium.

As advertised, a successful step down in difficulty, but still very enjoyable - thanks PM. My podium was 9a, 17a, and 20d.

Utterly charming. Pitch-perfect proof that gentle + done well = brilliant. I particularly enjoyed 19a, 14d and 20d. Ta lots.

Nice easy lunchtime treat, thanks Mark :)

Thanks PM, super stuff as expected, though of course rather more straighforward ... more than enough to keep things interesting though, with eg 17a's EST (I was familiar with ECT ... though the Madness fella did make it easy enough!), 21a's "bugs" synonym, 7d's definition, or the allusion in 16d perhaps lifting it slightly out of 'quiptic' territory? Agree with general consensus on 20d as COTD, but lovely stuff throughout; apologies for late commenting, just catching up ... thanks again!

Sorry it has taken me a while to get round to this PM, but glad I did. Not sure I agree with the Quiptic label. Though gentle enough for me to solve, it had some chewy moments. Podium was 1a, 13a and 22d but you can substitute others. For me just about the perfect puzzle!

I am in good company enjoying a particularly accessible PM puzzle, and I've not much to add beyond my own particular faves as my experience echos those that have come before me: 1a (neat), 12a (nice), 15a (clean), 19a (cute), 26a (clean), 28a (nice), 10d (fun surface image), 18d (likewise) and 20d (very neat)

Nice puzzle PM and enjoyed the theme, and was impressed to see so many in the grid fill! Appreciated the gentler solve and typically polished surfaces. My faves were 14d 12a 20d and 18d. Cheers and happy Christmas to you!

What a fun puzzle! 20d is my No.1. I have a YouTube channel called The Cryptic Mystic (1200 subs)(http://www.youtube.com/@The_Cryptic_Mystic) with the aim of demystifying cryptics and helping beginners discover the joy of solving them. I post walkthrough videos of me solving cryptics and explaining my thinking and the wordplay. Would you have any objections to me featuring your puzzles in this way? I think my subscribers would love them. I'd include links back to you here. Thanks, Martin
