Welcome back, Phantom, though your last puzzle on here was before I joined so I am not familiar with your previous work. As Fez says, lots of nice clues in here; you haven't gone particularly rusty! I liked 7a, 9a, 18a, 19a, 28a, 3d, 21d and 24d in particular. Spoilers in reply. Thanks. PM

Nice one phantom, and not really anything I can add to the Fez and Postmark "eyebrows raised" comments. I did like the Jesus reference at 2d. Full marks for inventiveness and theological knowledge. :)

Welcome back indeed Phantom, and nice to try one of your puzzles! This was a fun one, with lots of satisfying clueing - particularly 9a (neat), 11a (fun), 15a (neat), 19a (clever), 26a (neat), with a DBE indicator 27a (neat), 2d (neat), 5d (smooth), 12d (smooth), 21d (nice assembly) and 25d (very nice) - thanks for the entertainment and hope to see more Phantoms :)
