Very much enjoyed this - offered perfect chance to apply combination of biff, experience/skills (even if limited) and general knowledge - with triggers deftly woven through an array of excellent clues. TROPES new to us. Good number of clues with multiple facets to consider/assist (eg PIVOTED... if one aspect of the clue doesn't help, another might!) Thanks to both SAWBILL and JOHNINTERRED
