Neat theme(s)! COTD 6d - made me laugh and 19d was fun too. Clear cluing made even answers that I think are British usage/terms gettable for this foreigner. Thanks!

Agree COTD to 6d which made an old Python fan smile. Question - is it down to the checkers to decide whether 23ac is CHEATERS or CHEETAHS or is there a convention in the wordplay? Many thanks for a great QC.

You have to applaud the surface of 7d

Much enjoyed - held up by confidently inserting HUSH for 22a, along the lines of 'hush money' -this had us searching for a long elusive food until RE and BAD showed the error of our ways. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed this clever crossword. Thank you!
