Lovely puzzle, and a touching tribute. All good fun but 11a, 12a, 14a and 24a were particular favourites.

Nice stuff, Raider. Beyond the delicately-incorporated SI, 11a was the standout, along with 14a, 6d and 13d.

Lovely stuff, Raider. I appreciate the theme as I have 1d myself. Loved the 1d and 15d pairing, brilliantly done.

Thanks for the touching puzzle, Raider, lovely stuff. As others have noticed, 1d is superb and other faves include 7a (clean), 14a (fun), 25a (neat), 8d (fun), 16d (neat) and 21d (cute) :)

Thanks Raider, nicely done .. being autistic myself, also much appreciated the theme. Loved 1d of course (although it's the one clue that takes things well beyond the "quiptic"!)

Super puzzle, not too difficult but always engaging, and as others have noted, 1d is superb. Also loved 11a and 12a. Nice work 👍

Very good Raider. As others have said 1d is excellent and a 1st for me (requiring your notes to parse!). But the rest fell into place nicely. My only very minor quibble was that 20d possibly needed something like brief/initial. And well done on the awareness campaign, though I've always understood that the condition is not in itself a disability (though often accompanied by one) as much as a difference that sometimes even leads to hyperability.
