Apologies, some rather obscure stuff included. A bit of an experiment to see how far this "Mini" format might be pushed. I think this is probably far enough for now 😜 ... anyway, full spoilers follow ...

Oof, too tough for me. Fun, but when I can see the construction and still don't have an answer, it's also a rather frustrating process.

I can confirm that this is eminently solvable if you look for enough hints and have a working internet connection 😆 and I do love that setters aren’t using the Mini format exclusively for ‘quick and easy’ puzzles!

Amazing!

Well, I managed to fill in all the correct answers but the song was too well hidden for me. Everything accurately clued so gettable (though 1a required a bit of guess-and-check, as that type of clue often does when it’s an unfamiliar word). Very nicely done!

Touché. Such a nicely clued, fair grid. But I gave up on the extra after…

Thank you, Fez. Very enjoyable, witty and fair clues as always so readily solvable without Googling. Took me a while to get the theme but then remembered to read the instructions. Chapeau!

Thanks Fez, that was pure genius to squeeze so much in a tiny grid. I was lucky enough to easily solve 5a & 10a so that gave me a leg up. I got the band & songwriter but alas the song was beyond me.

I finished a Fez! With admittedly a little help. Not seeing the theme though (seems our music tastes differ). 6d my fave. Thanks, Fez
