Cor, this sure was a workout! Some fiendish stuff in here, especially in the bottom third or so (even had to give in on 56a!), but I pecked away at it on-and-off just fine. 5d pointed me in the right direction, so I had like ten of the treated answers entered before the penny finally dropped on 52a - which was nice, actually, 'cause it kept things flowing throughout. Faves were 3a, 14a, 2d, 22d & 51d, all for either clever wordplay and/or a pleasantly unexpected element. Thanks for the good fun!
