Thanks Liari, huge fun - and surprisingly not *too* tough, once I'd got used to ignoring clue numbers and enumerations! Fabulous gridfill which was star of the show for me, though with excellent clues throughout too. Spoilers ...

Had a great time with this - I know I could have used the "recommended" solver, but I managed just fine using the grid here while solving the clues on paper! Ticks went against the clues for the answers that appear at 8a, 10a, 11a, 25a & 3d, though the standard was top-notch throughout, even if I did slightly curse the clue whose answer appears at 1d (*cough*)... and, unlike Fez, I didn't bat an eyelid at the across 15-letter answer, and honestly I could have ticked that as well! Thanks a bunch!
