Very enjoyable! Quite accessible but with a few chewier chunks. Loved what you did with 1a, 1d, 27a, 23d - very clever. But my favourite was 24a, that made me chuckle. Thanks!

And, as so often the case, The Void's eagle eyes spot a parsing error in one of the more complex clues. Thank you, sir. Now edited. [ahem]
