Cryptic crossword No 808

Thank you, Filatore. Good puzzle! I enjoyed lots of the ones I tumbled to - particularly 11a, 22a and 23a. I had to reveal a few and, of those, I enjoyed most and felt silliest for missing 2d.

Lovely stuff! Some excellent clues but my absolute favourite was 23a, COTD for me 👍

Thanks Filatore, some nice stuff in here! I particularly liked 6a (neat), 11a (nice composition), 14a (clean), 22a (fun), 25a (very neat), 1d (satisfying assembly), 5d (neat), 8d (very neat), 18d (likewise) and 21d (likewise).

Thanks Filatore - really enjoyed this. Quite a variety of difficulty I felt (not a bad thing) so I made rapid progress and then struggled over the line. Some cracking clues: 11A, 1D, 2D and 15D my pick.

I loved this crossword. I agree with all the others’ comments about their favourite clues, but am surprised no one has mentioned 7A … "ledger line, bar, middle eight” is inspired!! COTD?? COTM for me.
