Excellent! I needed a little check button help towards the end and a few words were new to me but overall a hugely enjoyable puzzle. To say any more would be a spoiler, so I'll go straight to the reply...

Great stuff yogdaws. I am not particularly familiar with the theme (although realise that I should be) so had to read the comments to appreciate the full scale of the achievement. I agree with Fez's minor quibbles but they are small points in a really good puzzle. My favourites were 9A, 23A, 8D, 19D and 22D
