Many thanks ozof, some absolutely fabulous stuff in here. Lots of very clever (and often quite tricky) clues of which my very top favourites were the outstanding 9a, 16a, 26a, 17d and 19d ... many others worthy of mention too: 1a, 4a (never heard of but well clued), 11a, 13a, 14a, 24a, 25a (though punctuation a bit dodgy?), 2d, 3d, 5d (very cunning, though arguably could do with a little more?), 7d, 15d and 22d. Brilliant. Spoilers follow ...

Wow, ozof, thanks for this - it is quite a puzzle! The clues that I managed to solve were terrific but unfortunately that was only about half of them before I became rather stuck and resorted to reveals. Special mention for the superb 11A, 14A, 2D, 17D and 21D. Please could you turn on annotations so that I can appreciate the clues I can’t parse?
