Thanks Gennaro- Nina’s back with a vengeance! ‘Her’ product description on Amazon is seductive indeed- must follow up. Nice crossword too of course, always with the feeling of being in safe hands. My picks today were 13a, 23a (very clever!), 24a, 8d, 16d, 14d, & 17d. Beaten by 24a- my brain just doesn’t want to accept that meaning of‘basically’. Thanks again.

Excellent grid, Gennaro. The nina was NHO for me, but that didn't take away from the enjoyment of a good grid. 6a, 22a, 25a, 1d, 7d and 14d were my favourites.

Thanks Gennaro for an enjoyable puzzle with no obscurities (for me) other than the nina as NHO but I did manage to fill in some of it after a few clues were solved which did help complete the puzzle. My favourites were 6a, 1d, 8d, 15d and 20d. I did wonder if there would be any quibbles regarding 23a which has a great surface but does 'cotton jacket' provide CN as logically it should be 'cotton's jacket'? Perhaps 'jacket of cotton' would circumvent any such quibbles. ...

Having been travelling for 3 weeks, this is my first Gennaro in a while and a trademark one too. NHOs in 10a, 21a and 3d slowed me down a tad, but not irredeemably so. Nina also an NHO (i'll check it out) but no Nina has ever helped me anyway!! 6a, 21, 4d were my podium with plenty of others to admire. Many thanks... [spoiler]

OK, once again, the Nina escaped me (I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it's not my genre!). Stellar puzzle nonetheless. Love 19d, 15d (wonderful def), 16d, 1d was nice, so was 10a. NHO 5d (I see it's Brit slang, so that tracks) but got it from clue. Many thanks as always.
