Thanks, Gumboot, that was great: a good range of clues, some of which needed a bit of thought. All fair though and I got there in the end! Unusually for me I spotted the theme early on which helped with a few. My favourites included 1a, 16a, 21a, 22a (for the Holder), 14d and 16d.
