A very enjoyable crossword indeed. With music, cricket, football, cartoon characters and sex what's not to like! I did struggle with 26a and had to reveal 19d. A few guesses were required but as ever, there are so many clues that deserve mention such as 8a, 22a, 25a, 4d , 5d, 18d and 22d. I did think in 27a that the definition didn't quite fit the solution but it was gettable. Thanks again Podger.

A fun crossword, thanks. Didn't spot the theme (Duh), but nicely done.12a, 15a, 27a, 14d, 22d among favourites. Had to reveal 19d and 26a. Great stuff.

Thanks Podger, good fun with a fun theme too (though I only know 12 of them - may be worth highlighting them in annotations, you can flag each clue with a "thematic" marker). Faves include 7a, 20a, 25a & 22d. A few slightly stretchy defs (and one very stretchy homophone!) Spoilers ...

Nice one Podger- 50% thematic clues is a good achievement (although I’m taking a couple of them on trust!) Some great clues, including 7a, 12a, 22a, 25a, 9d and 17d. I was beaten by 26a, felt the same as Fez re 11a and Pentman re 27a. I have tried to support you over the nounal anagrinds but it may not be enough to save you 😄 Cheers!
