Hi Awkward, I don’t think you really lived up to your name here as this was a pretty straightforward and enjoyable solve for the most part! Some nice individual clues, my favourites being 6a, 10a, 25a, 1d, 3d. All in all a very promising debut, for which many thanks! One particular issue I’ll address below…
