Cryptic crossword No 2,662

Haha very nice! Was fun seeing the theme emerge. My fave clues are the kind you have to piece together, thus 20a,27a,15d,22d tickled me. COTD was 5d,and 10a made me laugh. Some very neat anagrams too.

Thanks Heron, a puzzle which I enjoyed a lot and nicely themed as well. Very succinct cluing overall which made for a satisfying solve, favourites were 17a, 24a, 16d, 18d 23d (nice creative def) and 22d.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, a great theme. My favs were 10a, 2d and 5d. Thanks.
