Nicely handled theme. I liked 13a,4d,18d. 14a was new to me.

I didn't twig the theme until I had quite a few, and I think the most obscure was the last to fall. Another obscurity was known to me from literature, but not in its definitional meaning - it was fun and unexpected to find it here. faves include 14a,20a,1d,3d,21d (COTD)

Hi Heron. I dipped out of yesterday's stream as I wanted to solve this myself but can see why it went down well. Took me a while to find my feet but everything resolved neatly in the end and I enjoyed spotting - and benefiting from - the theme. Faves inc 12a, 20a, 22a (though nho), 24a, 2d, 6d, 18d and 22d.
