Hi Ruskin, this was a really nice puzzle with some excellent clues, including 11a, 17a, 21a, 1d, 6d, and 8d.

Hi Ruskin - I really enjoyed this and favourites included 12a, 22a, 6d and the anagram at 8d. I'm a (now infrequent) choral singing fan too so the theme was up my street. Looking forward to more!

I liked this crossword, 11a was particularly clever!

Thanks Ruskin. I enjoyed this & I think you have what it takes for a productive future in cryptics. I struggled a bit & revealed 7a, 3d, and 18d; I particularly liked 11a, 12a, 17a, and 19a. Overall I was impressed with your efficient surfaces. More in reply.

A very enjoyable crossword that I did whilst listening to Radio 3! FOI 8d, LOI 5d. Some great surfaces, my favourites were 11a, 15a and 20d.

Hi Ruskin. A great crossword considering it's one of your first. 11a is brilliant. Also enjoyed 3d, 12a, 16d and others. I'll post a few comments in replies.

I revealed a few (this probably reflects my ability as a solver not yours as a setter) but many clues read really well. I liked ones like 24a, 6d, 17a, 19a, 14a, 9a... Lots! Impressive!

On 14a... how is EN to do with measure? Thanks

Hi Ruskin. I saw Susie Mesure's posts on BS recommending this and am glad I gave it a go. If only your second puzzle, very accomplished. Faves for me inc 12a, 17a, 3d, 8d, 16d and COTD, 11a. I would have been very chuffed to have come up with that last one. Thanks. PM

Nice puzzle - I’ll echo everyone else’s praise for 11a, very neat. Particularly impressed with how concise your clues are on the whole. There are a few rough edges but nothing that can’t be ironed out.

I really enjoyed this puzzle, thank you so much! You don’t set like a newbie! I can tell you know and understand cryptics well and it’s refreshing to see so much attention paid to making good surfaces! That makes such a difference! Keep setting please!

I'd like to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to provide feedback on this crossword. I've learned a lot from the 'technical' comments - thank you. In these times we live in, it's so heartening (even moving!) that communities of expert people are prepared to spend time supporting each other in this voluntary/kind way. What an amazing place!

What the others have already said - in terms of 👍 for a jolly accomplished second puzzle with some nice clues (and healthily concise ones at that), and in terms of the specific feedback on the few bits that would benefit from rework :-)

I watched this on Liari's Twitch stream and found it most enjoyable. Other commenters have picked up on some little technical quibbles so I won't go over those – but I will say I'd like to see more of your puzzles in future. Thanks!

This was very enjoyable and is really impressive if it's one of your first.

Very late to this Ruskin but just wanted to echo the appreciative comments that others have left. Nothing to add to the helpful feedback that you have already had. 11a COTD for me too!
