Good fun, Gennaro. Loved 14a and 27a — unintentional subtheme? 16a and 21a are a few of my other favs. 27a surface has me laughing every time

Brilliant, as usual. Nina took a while but once she revealed herself, most helpful in the Eastern sector. Lots of my fave type, clues that click together satisfyingly, like 12a, 21a, 30a, 2d, 19d. Fave was 17d, such a neat surface. Many thanks

Fun and approachable. Got the theme very early on from V and YA appearing in the top row. Did struggle with the unknown 7a and I think 9a could do with a QM as it's not a phrase most of us this side of the Pond will recognise for goalie. 18a, 21a, 1d, 13d and 24d my ticks. Thanks. PM
