Cryptic crossword No 2,348

Thanks for posting this Flashling. I found it much harder than your other puzzle, particularly the right-hand side where I needed a few reveals. Do you have annotations to enable as a few of the parses still elude me? Some clues are slightly off e.g. through confusing link words or parts of speech, which all contributes to the difficulty. Happy to expand after seeing your notes. There’s some good stuff too. I particularly liked: 1a, 25a, 27a, 1d and 18d.

You appear to have caught the bug, flash. I shall look forward to your third on Sunday??? Like Coot, I'd like to see Annotations. I had ticks for 1a, 9a, 27a (COTD), 28a, 1d, 4d, 6d and 18d. There are plenty of opportunities to tighten up, in particular, link words, consistency of parts of speech and avoidance of same sideyness. Thanks. PM
