Just enjoyed this on Cryptic Sunday, theme wasn't one I'm familiar with although I recognised a few of course. Definitions in 1D, 11A and the Xim-compliant E in 16A made those three my podium. Excellent fare! Thanks.

Nice job Fez. I suspected there would be a theme but it's not one I know so I did not recognise the richness of the allusions. Still enjoyed plenty of the clues in a reasonably accessible puzzle. Ticks for 9a, 12a, 16a, 18a, 29a, 1d, 3d, 4d, 8d, 18d, 26d. Thanks. PM

Great stuff Fez, thanks. Despite spotting the theme, I found this pretty challenging - extreme Fezziness in evidence - and needed a similar set of reveals to Gennaro. Favourites: 12a, 15a, 32a, 3d (COTD), 8d, 20d and 28d.

Well, I got almost there, vaguely recognising some of the thematic solutions, even though I've never seen more than a little of it. Very impressed on reading your annotations at how stuffed with theme it is ! Really liked 3d, 20d and 22d, 16a, 18a (nifty surface!) and 29a (ditto)

I'm late to this, Fez, but a fantastic puzzle - enjoyed it throughout. My favourites were probably 2d, 8d (always nice to see the statisticians!), 18d, 18a, and of course the grid. Bravo!
