Not sure what it says about me that I found this one far harder than the filthy one (glad to see a nudge and a wink crept in here too though). You bested me on a few, a couple I got without the GK needed (no idea who he is in 8a but the answer came to me in a flash right near the start). I liked 3 and 7 a lot and 18 is very clever and devious and I needed a letter reveal to get it, in both senses. Thanks for another fun puzzle!

A good crossword. 4d annoyed me for ages until the penny dropped. As usual your surface clues are very good, particularly liked 11a, 12d and 15d.
