Cryptic crossword No 2,216

Hi Delta, some nice ideas in this. I liked 29a 3d and 4d particularly; for me they were a good mixture of plausible surface and precise wordplay. A few spoilers in reply…

7a well-disguised but then 7d was my loi and required a reveal. Lotta good clues. 24a my pick.

1d made me chuckle and 6d I initially looked for an anagram. An enjoyable crossword
