Thought this was a nice display of neat and tidy clueing not trying to hard to fox the solver and with a nice air of fun about it. I liked 20a, 25a, 13d, and 28d which are all 4-letter clues done very smoothly and economically. Enjoyed the solve.
Thanks Gennaro, had a blast, and your special instruction helped me on 25a, my LOI and NHO :) relatively gentle otherwise but that suits me just fine. Enjoyed 15d, 13d, 3d, 21a, 7a, 9a (smooth).
Nice one Gennaro, thanks. I found this more gentle than your previous puzzle but I did get quite a lot of help from the SI this time. Struggling to find a quibble! Favourites: 9a, 12a, 10d, 13d (never averse to a bit of filth), 19d and 26d.
Fun as always, Gennaro (if somewhat light on the gnocchi!) I like chracol's phrase 'neat and tidy clueing' which is very accurate. 9a, 18a, 25a, 10d, 19d (COTD) and 22d. Thanks. PM
Hugely enjoyable and pleasingly gentle. A lovely Nina to boot, as per usual. Big ticks for 9a, 17d, 19d > I totally agree with PM – COTD. Non-quibble …
Thanks, Gennaro. Your puzzles are always instructive and enjoyable. Enjoy... "A local leader contributing to mycrossword.co ran negotiations. Revolutionary! (7)"
Another fun tussle with some lovely surfaces to boot. Liked 7a, 21a, 25a, 13d and 26d - a crossword staple word but it's always nice to see what new executions setter come up with for it! A couple of not-quibble observations in the reply!
Very late indeed to this, but hope you spot it. A very enjoyable puzzle, with a nice penny-drop moment near the end. All very smooth indeed - I think 4d was my pick.
