What a hoot Alp! So many clues delivered with an irreverence that really floats my boat! So many faves: 1a (fab) 11a, 13a, 19a, 22a (fab), 24a, 26a, 27a (fab), 5d (LOL), 7d, 8d (how could I not like? see 2069 lol), 14d, 16d, 20d, 23d, Spoilers...

Very nice, enjoyed that. A very slow start for me, then steady. Favourites included 1a, 11a, 15a, 18a, 22a, 24a, 1d, 6d, 8d, 23d. ...

Thanks Alp. Unfortunately I could only solve a handful of clues in this crossword --- most of it was beyond me. I enjoyed your surfaces, however, and thought 1d was a gem. Maybe next time?

That was plenty of fun, ALP. More doable than your last - I ended up with a complete grid bar 17d (comment on that one in Reply). I admire your ability to find synonyms that have utterly different meanings to what they appear to be saying. That is a real skill. Plus some of your cryptic defs are fun.
