Cryptic crossword No 2,063

This was fun with a cheerful start and a bright finish. Favourites included 8a, 11a, 12a, 14a, 20a, 28a and 2d. I do have some minor quibbles but a) they’d be easily sorted and b) they didn’t detract from the enjoyment, at all. Spoilers …

That was a fun solve, thanks yogdaws. Thankfully ALP and Fez have provided all the quibbling! My favourites were: 8a, 20a, 21d and 23d.

Thanks yogdaws. I’ve been away awhile and this is a nice return to MyC for me. I particularly appreciated 14a, 20a, 2d, 4d, 21d, 23d among others. A few NHOs for me, but as they say ‘you learn something new every day…’ No quibbles to add to those you’ve already received, so thanks again.

Thanks yogdaws, that was most enjoyable with 10a, 11a, 12a, 15a (great definition), 20a (COTD), 28a, 16d, and, 21d being favourites. I used the 'guess and check' method to get the nho 5d. More in reply.

An enjoyable solve, thank you! Breezed through except the nho 5d which, having worked out what was going on, I revealed rather than guess/check by trial and error. I liked 8a, 11a, 14a, 15a, 20a, 28a, 21d, 23d...
