Cryptic crossword No 2,014

Thanks Henri. This seemed daunting at first with all the cross-referenced clues but it ended up being more of an enjoyable stroll than I anticipated. I did reveal 20d and I needed your notes to fully parse 22a and 27a but all else came to light. Top picks were 10a, 12a, 14a, and 17d. I liked the 'get lost' in 26a,1d,2d! More in reply.

Interesting idea, Henri. Slightly intimidating to encounter cross references in the very first clues but it made some sense by the time I got to the key solution - but it still took a while before I could fully appreciate it. 10a, 14a, 27a, 13d and 17d the pick of the clues for me. Thanks. PM

Thanks Henri, good stuff. Theme very nicely incorporated ... and needed it for LOI 20d which also required a visit to Chambers to confirm. Faves 9a, 10a, 26a 1d 2d (for "get lost"), 28a, 13d ... and 20d! Spoilers ...
