Thanks Gennaro, great stuff! What with the apparently-not-sufficiently-trademarked device, cover image, and American theming, I could have sworn there was an error with the username here, but a couple of typically Fez-ian constructions provided reassurance in the end. 4a, 9a, 10a, 31a, and 8d were the stars but could easily have picked others as well. A tad confused by 3d and nho 5d or 28d, but nothing major. Thanks!

Thanks Fez, how could I not love this crossword? Everything was 'strangely' familiar including the 'gentle' (mostly) wordplay. I did reveal 28a but all else went in easily (for a Fez crossword) with my top picks being 13a, 23a, 31a, 2d, 15d, 20d, and 27d. Good stuff overall.

Nice job, Fez. A sense of deja vu on encountering the puzzle - understandably. Loads of good clues including 9a, 14a, 16a, 29a, 31a, 2d, 3d, 8d, 18d, 20d and 24d my favourites. And a lovely nod to a fellow setter. Thanks. PM

Ha! Fabulous tribute 😁 and I spotted almost all of the extra touches too. Fave clues were 4a, 16a, 30a, 31a, 2d and 24d. Thanks!

Ha! Very, very smart grid. Sharp as a tack. And such a charming hat tip. 1a, 31a, 2d, 11d and 24d did it for me. And I’m totally with you 32a/33a. Great film, great book. Ta lots. An absolute cracker.

Very good thank you, completed at second sitting. Liked 4a, 9a, 23a, 28a, 31a, 7d, 15d, 19d. Spotted the theme and Ninas, although not familiar with 32a, 33a, and a couple of nho which were clued clearly. Thank you

Very nicely done, Fez! Slightly defeated by a couple but all fair and good fun. Favourites: 1a, 17a, 31a, 33a, 7d, 20d and 27d

Thanks, Fez. I found this trickier than your usual, and trickier than Gennaro's usual too! Looks like I'm on my own there, wavelength thing maybe. Still a big list of favourites though: 1a, 10a, 12a, 23a, 30a, 31a, 2d, 5d, 7d, 8d, 19d, 20d (my cotd, for the esoteric reference)
