Thanks Baldur, good fun with plenty of quirky bits to keep things interesting. I found myself reaching for Chambers a few times - and usually coming away enlightened (eg 10a, 18a, 26a, 30a...) - personally I enjoy that sort of challenge. 9a *did* raise an eyebrow though! PM has already picked up on a few bits'n'pieces, so just to list some faves: 10a, 16a, 23a, 1d, 2d (now it's been 'fixed'!), 17d & 25d. Thanks again!

Thanks Baldur for the challenge. My top picks were 12a, 32a, 2d, 5d, 15d, and 25d (COTD). I revealed 18a and 31a. I needed your notes to answer some parsing questions but that's par for the course for me.

Crikey, that was rather too tough for me Baldur! Resorted to a fair few reveals in the end. Lots of very tough synonyms and some tricky wordplay too. Lots to like though, my favourites being: 11a, 16a, 19d, 20d (I'll resist the temptation to quibble the def!) and 25d. Spoilers ...
