Thanks ALP for an entertaining (and at times quite tough) puzzle! I needed your notes to parse a few. Highlights: 10a, 11a (took me a while) and 14a. A few eyebrow wiggles in the reply!

Thanks Alp, that was fun even when it seemed a bit like work. My top picks were 18a (excellent), 27a (love the silly surface), 4d, 16d, 23d, and 24d (my COTD). I revealed 5d and needed your notes to parse22a, 26a, and 6d. More in reply.

Thank you, very enjoyable and quite tough (didn't get far on first attempt, then it came together nicely on a second visit). In particular, I liked 5a, 10a, 11a, 27a, 28a, 2d, 8d, 24d, 20d amongst others. Plenty of creative and well-disguised indications here...

Good stuff, thanks ALP. Faves include 1a, 10a, 11a, 18a, 27a, 8d & 24d. And 25a too, for me! Spoilers ...

Thanks ALP, that was a tough one for me! I needed a fair few reveals, but on reading your notes nothing struck me as unfair, just tricky. Favourites 1a, 5a, 11a, 14a (Emmanuelle a blast from the past!), 18a, 6d, 7d, 16d, 20d and 24d.

Nice job, ALP. Yes, fairly challenging but rewarding to parse some of them. 11a very cleverly done; 14a probably my COTD for its elegant simplicity; 18a is nice misdirection; 25a is probably unfair without indication but Philistine never bothers; 17d is sweet and 20d has a neat use of ferries which I haven't seen before. Thanks. PM

Lovely, Alp! Faves were 11a, 14a, 28a, 6d, 19d, 24d but plenty else to admire too, not least the overall ingenuity. Some spoilers:
