Bit of a toughie that tpg, but all seems fair in retrospect - just some cunning constructions with clever misdirection had me head scratching in places (esp NW quadrant). I particularly admired and enjoyed 7a, 10a, 11a, 1d, 2d, 3d, 18d, 19d but lots else to like. Thanks!

Very good! Took me a couple of visits due to some holdouts that my brain couldn’t process first time around, but overall more gift than poison, I’d say. My podium is the exquisite run of 17d, 18d and 19d. Spoilery comments ->

I found the NW rather tricky, together with a couple in the NE so needed a couple of reveals to get me home, tpg. I liked 11a, 15a, 22a, 23a, 8d, 12d and 16d. Thanks. PM

Thanks tpg. This was very much a puzzle of two halves for me. Most of the bottom half went in relatively smoothly but I was thoroughly defeated by the top half. Mostly just a wavelength thing, I think, combined with the NHO 5a and a couple of quibbles in the NE (see reply). Favourites: 18a, 21a, 23a, 8d, 14d and 19d. Spoilers ...
