Cryptic crossword No 1,637

Good to see you back here Hubble! This was most enjoyable - very fairly clued and perfect to accompany my post-swim coffee. I was only tripped up by 14a, a NHO but I should have worked it out. Favourites: 11a, 19a, 28a, 1d, 8d and 12d.

I did not recognise the name but see you were here before I discovered the site. A very enjoyable first encounter with your work. As Coot say, very fairly clued and everything fell into place - including 14a which I did manage to solve and which is certainly fair to the solver. Thanks Hubble. There are some excellent clues here, and although I slotted in the first 3 acrosses, it proved to be nicely testing. I particularly liked 10a, 19a, 1d, 5d, 8d, 12d and my favourite 11a.
