Cryptic crossword No 1,582

This is so good I'm actually angry about it. I may have more specific things to say in the replies later, but for now: wow. Thank you.

Working my way through it but so far, so good. Very good. 6d and 13d favorites so far.

Bahaha. Blast from the past with the nina, and lovely theming throughout. Not 100% sold on "timed-out", the "barrier to progress is" and the apostrophe in 16a as a L&S, but otherwise some splendid stuff. 22a, 25a and 2d for the podium. Thanks!

Too hard for me. Even with a bit of checking, I can't get anything going in the SW corner and I've already got too many clues I need to check the annotations for, so I'm throwing in the towel. But 10a, 5d, 6d and 13d were great, and 22a is either brilliant or a war crime, I'm not sure which!
