Cryptic crossword No 1,558

This puzzle contains clues and solutions from two themed works in progress; #namecheck and "Keep it in the family". Neither work has quite enough entries to really qualify as a theme. The combination resulted in 16 themed clue/solutions. As a result this is now titled "Me and Mine"

Well I'm clearly not the type of person to be able to solve any of these

A DNF, not having a dirty enough mind to get 15d and the brilliant 11d, for example. But it was good filthy fun on a day when I needed cheering up, with some very fine clues. Favourites 5a, 8d, 17d, 22d; and, having had them explained to me, 9a, 13a, 2d, 4d. It's quite an achievement to sustain the cheery offensiveness through every single clue. Well done. (Though I'm reminded of the critic who said, post-Portnoy, that he'd like to meet Philip Roth but not necessarily shake him by the hand...)

Goodness me, you've outdone yourself with the smut here Bottom, thanks for a riotously irreverent puzzle! I had a lot of fun solving, particularly enjoying 5a (lol), 9a (nice grind), 24a (creative), 25a&26a (smooth linked surface), 1d (clever), 2d (lol), 11d (clever), 15d (neat), 20d (lol) and 23d (lol) - some of your best surfaces I reckon, and impressively inventive across to board. Keep 'em coming!
