Cryptic crossword No 1,293

Plenty to enjoy here Mulhacen, mostly a gentle solve although I struggled with the SW corner. Particularly enjoyed 14a, 2d, 3d & 22d among others. A few that I'm not too sure about - turning 'annotated solutions' on in the composing screen is always helpful to resolve such uncertainties - can be done retrospectively, so if you've written explanations as you've set clues I'd recommend switching the annotated solutions on. Some queries to raise in reply, to avoid spoilers.

Thanks Mulhacen, lots to enjoy. Favourites include 10a (like the "architect"), 17a (clever reference), 24a, 3d, 15d ("sunburn" perhaps a stretch there but clear!) & 16d (fun & silly) - thanks again!
