Well that was a quick one, completed at an *almost* express pace ;) I don't dabble in said beverage myself but that didn't stop me recognising the theme or the PDM, which came around two-thirds of the way through... special mentions go to 19a, 24a (COTD), 2d, 5d and 27d. Thanks!

You have brewed up a nice Bank Holiday morning puzzle to go with my lunchtime cuppa, Jaspa. A nice range of devices on show and plenty of humour. Faves included 6a, 12a, 19a, 21a, 24a, 4d, 5d and 9d. Spoiler in Reply. Thanks. PM

Thanks Jaspa - very nice to get a themed puzzle that still retains the "coffee break" vibe. Super throughout but particular favourites include 10a, 14a, 19a, 24a, 30a, 3d, 5d, 8d & 22d. Thanks again!

Thanks, Jaspa - just the ticket at the end of a busy BH weekend. I instantly twigged the theme but the full beautify of the grid only filtered through to me near the end. Favourites: 19a, 24a, 31a, 5d (tremendous find) and 22d.

Very nice stuff Jaspa - and especially impressive to make an accessible themed puzzle, even if it wasn't quite over in an, ahem, instant. The penny dropping certainly helped me near the end. 24a, 9d, and 22d were my picks.

Coffee is the only hot beverage I like so happy with the cleverly worked theme. It didn't help me a great deal. I struggled in the west, not helped by being unable to guess the right combination for 1a. I was stuck on something like. EMERALADS. 5d is a great spot. For 14a I had POST, which almost works as a marker for where to turn e.g. out on a run. Were you ever tempted to word 16d as "Exotic spy eating people"? Excellent puzzle, though more "weekend" break than coffee for this numpty!

A lovely rare Jasparian themer, thanks :) good clean fun from start to finish and just the ticket for one still feeling a bit slow in the thoughts. I particularly liked 10a (neat), 12a (clean), 24a (smooth), 3d (clean), 3d (satisfying assembly), 7d (likewise), 9d (fun) and 25d (neat) - top gridfill too!

Light and breezy fun, as others have said. Thanks, Jaspa. Faves were 10a, 2d. Didn’t spot the thing until after I’d finished - as usual. I have minor issues with 5d - where on earth did the last five letters of the first word come from? Hmmmm! I suspect it’s an Americanism - which doesn’t in itself bother me, except that it’s basically wrong! But I’ll try not to lose any sleep over it. 🙂
