Disgusting; you can expect a missive denouncing you in the Letters pages of the Tumbridge Wells Herald in the mara. P.S. I did enjoy the one about the cat.

It feels like ages since I saw a Bottom, and I must say I'm all the better for it. Riotously good fun and impressively tight clueing throughout, an impressive combination. For surface, 12a, 14a, 15a, 24a, 25a, 27a, 4d (oh lordy), 6d, 11d and 16d gave me the most pleasure with 5a, 10a, 13a, 17a, 24a, 26a, 3d, 11d, 16d, 19d and 20d proved the most satisfying solves. Masterfully done.

Last time I think I said how impressed I was that you kept it up for so long. Same goes here but I have to admit I found this one harder.

Bottom - you've come again. 'Nice' to see you back on top form. You've clearly been working yourself hard. Outrageous, amusing, tight and frequently close to the bone. Thanks. PM

Er, well done, Bottom. I think. 16d is appalling but I have to admit it made me laugh out loud. I've seen similar ideas to 24a before but never done quite like this. nho the Aussie slang at 26a - every day's a school day at MyCrossword...

Pure filth - what's not to like? Big ticks for 10a, 12a, 17a (*snort*), 25a (*snoooooort*), 7d, 16d (great spot!) & 20d. I can only really echo Coot (who, coincidentally, recommended your other two puzzles to me a while back) and say that I'm mighty impressed by the creativity displayed in keeping it up for so long... though aren't you supposed to seek medical attention if it lasts for more than four puzzles? *cough*

Well, Bottom, I don't know what's worse - the fact you wrote this filth or the fact I enjoyed it so much. I note it's your first for a while, which just leaves me wondering when you got out! Anyway, I'm off to join Coot in a cold shower.

Absolutely disgraceful. Can't wait for the next one, just so I can make sure you've cleaned your act up.

Good Lord. A tour de force of filth, and some lovely cluing to boot. Not sure I'll ever forget 16d, which is my COTD, but 6d and 12a run it close. I would join Baldur in the cold shower, but I'd rather be alone...

Thank you all for solving and commenting. What an encouraging set of comments too. 16D was my favourite clue so I'm glad so many of you liked it, although I don't think it's quite as good as 18a in my last #510.

Disgusting. I loved it! 16d probably does win out, but filthily good throughout, thanks :-)
