Well done Liari, both in bringing awareness and in executing a superb grid! Five of my faves: 6d ("unusually drastic measure" is one of my favorite surface bits of the year so far), 10a, 11a, 13a, 19d.

I agree with Tug on the superbly elegant 6d. Other faves 13a, 15a, 23a, 2d, 22d. And great additional notes in the solutions. Thank you Liari.

Thanks Liari, very enjoyable - faves include 10a, 12a, 15a, 17d & 25d but clear COTD for me was 23a. And always nice to learn new things ... (spoilers)

Thanks, Liari. I agree with everyone about the theme and notes - learned some new things there. As for the clues, my top 3 would be 23A, 26A and 8D/1D, which is very well done, especially given the answer's central role in the theme.

Thanks for the lovely puzzle Liari - as Fez, hadn't realised there was a whole month dedicated either - and glad to learn a few other interesting things on the way too. I really liked 1a (clean), 9a (cute and clever), 13a (fun def), 15a (nice indicator), 23a (excellent), 26a (neat), 27a (simple and fun), 2d (fun and clean), 8d/1d (thanks for the vid link too), 17d (nice assembly), 21d (fun) and 25a (neat) - delightful stuff :)
