Cryptic crossword No 1,117

Thanks for the puzzle Jaspa, I'm still smiling at a couple of your clues, very nicely done! This was on the upper end of your distribution in terms of challenge, but also inventiveness and surface quality too. Liked 'em all but in particular 1a/10a (strong start), 11a (very neat), 14a (fun), 16a (likewise), 22a (fun and smooth), 24a (very cute, loved it), 31a (neat), 1d (neat), 13d (satisfying misdirection), 21d (neat) and 25d (very neat)...

I'd agree with sirdakka: bit tougher than a typical Jaspa but the coffee is still hot. (I do use a thermos cup!) Likes included 1a/10a of course, 5a, 16a, 19a, 24a, 5d and 6d. Thanks. PM
