That was a lot of fun HR, some satisfyingly smooth and succinct surfaces and some clever wordplay. I particularly liked 1a (neat and smooth), 11a (likewise), 13a (cute and fun), 16a (very clean), 23a (likewise), 26a (neat), 2d (nice), 5d (neat), 7d (fun), 10d (neat), 13d (very clean) and 22d (nicely done). A few I wasn't 100% on the parsing of, don't suppose you could turn on annotations? Thanks for the puzzle!

I enjoyed this as well. The clues were all at a nice level (i.e. not too hard for a mediocre solver such as myself) with plenty of anagrams which I love. Favourites were 1a (nice disguise), 9a & 14a (both very clever), 26a & 22d (nice indicators), and 13d( lovely surface). I have one technical query which I've put in a reply.

Hello HR. Sorry to be so slow but I have been doing some MyC catching up. I found this more approachable than your Rookie Corner submissions with lots of clues to like and very few complaints at all. Favourites in this include 4a, 14a, 21a, 7d, 13d, 21d and 22d. Thanks. PM
