Enjoyed very much- lots of clever misdirection-OVERSEAS, DARDANELLES, CROCKERY. Took a while to see STARTER too- thanks for entertainment!

That was a good challenge, with a nice range of difficulty to get me started, although ground to a halt in some places where I was outwitted by the more devious clues, well done! I particularly liked 8a, 17a, 23a, 1d, 3d and 16d
