Quick crossword No 47

Wow, that was an excellent debut Chrisj50, well done! You construct some wonderful clues and have created a satisfying and fun level of difficulty. I particularly liked solving 13a, 17a (clever), 22a, 23a, 1d, 5d, 6d (the best of some wonderfully efficient clues), 14d, 16d and 20d. This was perhaps a bit more difficult that a typical quiptic, heading towards full cryptic difficulty, but that is offered purely as feedback, not a criticism. SPOILERS in reply.
