Thanks Boznut, it took a bit more than a tick to solve but less than a cup of coffee. Lovely coherent surfaces and your trademark wit in the wordplay. Faves included 8a, 9a, 20a, 1d, 4d and 13d. (In 11a’s annotation the wrong word is highlighted for the def.) Cheers!

Lots of fun, Boznut, thank you. Some killer surfaces and neat wordplay, along with a tough (for me) SW made for an engaging and enjoyable solve. My favorite surface/construction combinations were 8a, 10a, 11a, 1d, 3d, 4d, 5d funny, 13d, 19d (sent it to my sister who also liked it).

Thanks Boznut for the usual high-quality entertainment with sensible surfaces as always. My top picks were 11a, 16a, 20a, 6d, 13d, and 15d. Not quite a 'quick' for me but not a bear either 😄
