Hi johninterred, thanks for the puzzle - some challenging terminology coming from the theme (which was impressively executed) but I appreciated learning some new terms! This was harder than your other offerings I found, no criticism at all however. The NE corner fell after some time, and I'm still not sure I'm parsing 7d properly. I particularly liked 11a, 15a, 20a, 6d &16d

Would have done worse if didn't know theme! Didn't know GRANDSIRE or if LEGATEE parsed correctly. Enjoyed RINGING, BEVEL, BOB and BRISTLE especially Thanks- good workout!
