Very nice SGITF! Lots of great clues, I particularly liked 1a (very neat!), 12a, 22a, 24a (nice use of the theme), 3d, 9d and 19d. One thing to note is that you've used 'strangely' as an anagram indicator twice - always try to avoid repeating indicator words!

You were right that not knowing the game wouldn't be a problem. Nonetheless, I did reveal 25a and 17d (my bad, fun clue) and had ticks next to 22a, 23a, 6d, and 7d. Thanks for the fun.
