Very entertaining. Thank-you. I particularly enjoyed 9A, 11A, and 8D. A couple of minor points...

I enjoyed this. The top half went in easily enough from the definitions without necessarily being fully parsed. 7d, 8d and 9a are very good. Came unstuck in the South and had to reveal my last three. Spoilers follow...

Thanks Waxon. You have a flair for this. Johninterred and the guys here will be a great resource for you. I've done 6 now and had a great time (though less expert then here, we also share drafts by email with each other to polish grids up in preview mode before they get published. I couldn't parse the Italia 90 reference maybe swap 'on' for 'in'? Ascot was in the wrong place (now corrected) and I didn't really buy 'flaccid' as an anagram indicator. I look forward to further puzzles from you. Ta!
