Lots to like an great theming! The couple of indirect anagrams tripped us up but we managed to get everything in the end :D Favourites were 6a and 4d

Thanks for the dark fun, apricity. I enjoyed this as well, including 1a which I kind of mis-parsed, thinking there was a creative reversal-indicator at play rather than an indirect anagram. 3d's surface also made me laugh.
